So here we are. . .it's summer! This means no more 7th graders, no more attitude adjustments, no more 30 minute lunches...whew! Too bad for me I've only had about 3 days of summer vacation. Besides working on the Assessment Committee this week for the school district, I've decided to keep myself busy and work part-time as a receptionist at a plastic surgeon's office in Dallas. I don't mind the extra jobs. It's bringing in much needed money. I have a beautiful younger sister getting married in August in the greatest city in the world (Las Vegas for those of you unsure of the correct answer for that). I also have a list of stuff I just NEED (want) to have.
Working for a plastic surgeon is quite interesting. Being around all this elective "stuff" starts putting ideas in my head! Luckily, needles are one thing I'm really scared of! Botox, for example, is done often, & is no big deal. It takes care of crow's feet, fine lines & wrinkles...wow. For you 4 people that will read this (thanks, Mom!), relax. I don't plan to get Botox!!! I'm just saying it's a totally different world from teaching!
Since this is my first ever blog entry, please make comments back to me!

Oh Miss!!!!! I couldn't be happier that you are blogging now! I can't believe we have known each other for almost 10 years now either! I'm so excited for your sister too--and you of course--that you get to go back to Vegas!
Can't wait to read more of your adventures! Love ya!!! --Lin
